Federal  University of Lafia academic courses

 

   FULAFIA was established in 12^th of February, 2011 by the Federal government of Nigeria in Nasarawa.

The address of the university is, Federal University Lafia, PMB 146, Maraba Akunza, Obi Road, Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

The pioneer vice-chancellor was prof  Ekanem Ikpi Braide while the current vice-chancellor is prof Liman Sanusi.

 With a student population of 243 at its commencement of academic programs, fulafia had increased access to a wide range of academic courses with increasing student population and recognized globally.

Fulafia offers undergraduate (bachelors degrees), masters and PhD degree program of good standard.

Fulafia also offers a warm and inviting community for international students to learn, grow professionally and engage with the world.

  Fulafia boasts not only of high quality education but also of a lively campus community with superb facilities and student support.

 Fulafia commenced academic activities on a takeoff site along Obi Road, Lafia at the erstwhile State Secretariat Complex donated by Nasarawa State Government.

 Fulafia began moving to its permanent site in 2015 which occupies about 206 hectares, along the Lafia-Makurdi Road in Lafia also provided by the government of Nasarawa state. By 2015  the central administration Block and all major faculties had moved to the new site.

 The philosophy of federal university of Lafia is anchored on its core values of academic quality, critical thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, excellence, social responsibility and sustained development.
