JAMB Announces Dates For 2020 UTME Exercise

JAMB sets date for 2020/2021 UTME registration and exam

  The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, announced the dates for the conduct of 2020 UTME examination in a stakeholders meeting today in Abuja.

  The JAMB registrar, prof. Ishaq Oloyede made this known today (Monday) in a meeting with commissioners of education at F.C.T.

According to the JAMB boss the registration for UTME and DE will commence on 13^th January and proceed to 17^th February while the registration for mock exam will hold between January 13 and February 1st, adding it will run simultaneously with that of main UTME.

  The JAMB registrar stated, that the JAMB main exam will be conducted between 14^th march and April 4^th.

 However, only candidates with NIN  shall register for the UTME exam.

  According to him, the board is bringing NIMC as directed by the National Assembly and Federal Executive Council to conduct the 2020 UTME. He therefore urged everybody to stand up and support NIMC .The JAMB registrar also said that the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria, would be brought to help in monitoring the CBT centers. He advised prospective candidates to approach NIMC enrolment centers for their national identity number registration. He was also found to have quoted that over 40% of candidates have registered.
