JAMB RELEASES WITHHELD RESULTS
The Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board on Friday released 4,536
withheld results.
According to JAMB, the release followed the
decision of a committee set up to examine the multiple facial identities.
The 4,536 results out of the withheld 4,760 results
were withheld over allegations of multiple identities and other infractions.
According to the JAMB Head of information, Dr. Benjamin, the release became
necessary following facial match recognition carried by the board’s specialized
software and IT experts.
It was gotten that the board suspended, the Nigerian Navy Secondary
School center Abeokuta, Ogun state for acts not acceptable to the board. The
board has also released the results of 237 candidates who took the exam at the
Nigerian Navy Secondary School Abeokuta.
He said about, 127 candidates would be subjected to further physical
examination, while those of 97 candidates established to have been involved in
multiple registration and other forms of infractions have been withheld, saying
that the former would be subjected to physical examination when contacted and
must appear before an inspection team.
