JAMB CONDUCTS A SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM
It was confirmed that JAMB on Monday
conducted a supplementary UTME examination for 490 candidates who were affected
by the suspension of their earmarked CBT centers over malpractice and other
infractions.
Naijaedulib learnt that the exam took place at
Kogo Abuja, JAMB Bayelsa state office Yenegoa and JAMB national headquarters in
Bwari Abuja.
According to the information gotten from the
board’s weekly bulletin, “It was expedient to suspend all examinations at
centers earlier earmarked for the candidates based on the lack of capacity of
the centers and involvement in examination infractions.
The examination was conducted on Monday, 3rd June. The board
conducted the exam for 490 candidates who could not take the rescheduled exam.
The board also reiterated, that no candidate shall unjustly be
sanctioned, advising people to be wary of fraudsters that parade fake results.
The board said they have a system
that can check it’s results and urging candidates with any results contrary to
what was issued to come forward with evidence.
