It was recently confirmed that JAMB had released more of the withheld results. Information reaching us reveals that the board had released about 15,490 more results.
  The disclosure was made by the board’s Head of Media and information, Dr Benjamin on Monday in Lagos state.
 The said number was part of the 34,120 withheld results by JAMB
On the other hand, JAMB will hold a policy meeting with critical stakeholders this Tuesday, to arrive at a general cut
-off mark this year. The location is at Gbogan Osun state. The information was disclosed by the board, in its weekly bulletin on Sunday.
  The said policy meeting will have as its chairman, the permanent secretary of the federal ministry of education.
  The board however, advised candidates not to accept the fake cut-off marks being publicized by fraudulent individuals.

   Meanwhile, It was gathered that the governor of Kwara state had decried the massive failure of Kwara students in the just concluded UTME examination, which he attributed to deficiency in ICT knowledge.
 Governor AbdulRahaman, represented by his deputy, Kayode Alabi made the remark at the convocation ceremony of the  Kwara state university in Malate, Maro L.G.A Kwara state.
He was found to have said
“Our administration is disturbed by the systemic problem in our educational system which manifested in the 2019 UTME, It is immaterial if there are other parts of Nigeria with similar crises, we in Kwara, have a duty to roll back the anomaly in the most practical way, we have a duty to ensure that the overwhelming majority of our children are given the opportunity to excel by having access to IT enabled education.
 The Joint admission and matriculation board released the results of her candidates on 11th may 2019 where about where about 34,120 results were reportedly withheld. About 1.8 million candidates registered for the UTME exam. JAMB will on Tuesday meet with relevant stakeholders to conclude on the general cut-off marks for candidates into the Nigerian tertiary institutions.
