BREAKING:  JAMB FINALLY RELEASE THE 2019 CUT-OFF MARKS INTO ALL INSTITUTIONS IN NIGERIA

The Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB) today, Tuesday approved 160 for admission eligibility into the nation's universities. That is to say that 160 is the national minimum cut-off mark for public universities in the country.
  The board however, approved 120 for public polytechnics(both state and federal polytechnics).
The board also approved 140 as minimum cut-off mark for admission into private universities and 110 into private polytechnics.
 The board finally approved 100 and above for colleges of education

The decision was made at the 19th policy meeting on Admissions Into Tertiary Institutions which took place at Bola Babalakin Auditorium, Gbongan, Osun State.
  The meeting presided by the JAMB registrar, had vice-chancellors of universities, rectors of polytechnics and provosts of Colleges of education in attendance also approved 19th December as the closing date for admission into public universities and February 15th 2020 for private universities admissions closing date.
  The JAMB boss Prof. Oloyede, said that admissions into universities would be conducted on JAMB's Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

  In his remarks, the Director of tertiary institutions, Federal Ministry of Education, Joel Ojo, who represented Minister of Education, said the result of the recent investigation of the JAMB registration of candidates carried out by the JAMB indicates that the examination industry requires a review.
Mr Joel Ojo said JAMB's Policy Meeting remains the acceptable forum where plans and programmes for admissions are discussed and approved to guide the placement of qualified candidates to tertiary institutions.
  Meanwhile, naijaedulib  had gotten that the University of Ibadan UI, insists on 200 as their cut-off mark. Prospective applicants are however advised to take note, while also preparing for their postutme exams.
