JAMB LIKELY TO CANCEL ABOUT HALF OF THE TOTAL RESULTS OF CANDIDATES THIS YEAR IN SOME STATES

 According to JAMB official who spoke anonymously to PREMIUM TIMES explained that JAMB may likely cancel about 50% of candidates results this year 2019.

The official elaborated and frowned at the magnitude of examination malpractice carried out in most states as captured by the installed CCTV cameras in about 700 centers.

 The official said, while all parts of the country took part in cheating, it was however worse in some. The official said about fifty percent of some centers in some states may likely have their results canceled.

  He wondered why people would assume that the installation of CCTV as a must requirement for all CBT centers was for a joke.

On the same hand, he pointed out that the issues of examination malpractice in some JAMB centers are tied to the connivance of their deployed staff with CBT operators. He pitied their personnel that engaged in such acts, as they will be easily sanctioned.

 He went on to accuse private center owners of coordinating and carrying out exam malpractice, because they see it as business.

 Earlier, it was reported about 100 persons have been arrested over issues of exam malpractice in this year JAMB.

He pointed out that the delay result release was due to JAMB’s resolution to tackle and halt examination malpractice, by carefully screening candidates’ results before release, saying they (JAMB) would have been through by past Wednesday but as it is now, they are likely to release the results this Friday.
