The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board(JAMB) which started her year 2019 exam on 11th April and ended on 18th April is yet to release the results of candidates after about 10 days of the last batch
Jamb candidates have however waited till this moment to receive their result notifications in good faith
Problems and issues witnessed with the year exam of the board headed by prof Is-haq Oloyede were cases of impersonation,poor network in few centers, and other cases of exam malpractice.
Some CBT operators were caught in some of these illicit acts and or aiding such illegal practice. Few centres were reportedly cancelled while affected innocent victims exam was retaken.
Candidates who took part in the JAMB exam pleaded with the body to upgrade their systems calculator to include more functions. It was however, recorded that about 1.8 million persons registered for 2019 UTME. The board however, begged and adviced the students to be wary of fraudsters and websites who are out to defraud gullible candidates about release of results by the body, urging them to wait till they finalize their operations and result scrutiny before they send the results to their various lines used in registration process.
Normally the results of candidates would have been released about 24 to 48 hours after the exam, but due to some issues currently handled by JAMB to ensure transparency and quality, the results are therefore not yet available.
The board also adviced people to repudiate the rumours going round, about the board's plan to reduce candidates results, saying it was being initiated and propagated by some group of miscreants.
Also Jamb did made public her plans to probe the credentials of people who got admission for the past ten years and also ensure necessary actions on erring candidates, whether in school,graduated or working.
JAMB however reported recently to release the results of candidates anyday from now this week. You adviced to wait patiently till it is officially announced.

From information gathered so far, candidates are likely expected to view their result notification by sending an SMS "RESULT" to 55019 with the number used in registration.
Lastly but not the least, candidates have been warned not to expose their Reg numbers and profile code to avoid falling prey to fraudsters who may desire to use their details detrimentally against them.
